City Dental has its own dental laboratory on site in the clinic.
There we manufacture everything from dentures to porcelain crowns! Our team of dentists and dental technicians will work together to develop a treatment that suits you and your circumstances.
When crowns and bridges are made, the mouth is scanned with an intraoral scanner and a 3D file is then sent to the lab. In the lab, the new tooth is designed digitally and then milled in the desired material.
After this, the tooth is coated with a ceramic material which is then fired in a high-temperature oven. As a final step, the construction is sanded, polished, painted and glazed by hand and then fired at high temperature one last time.
If necessary in e.g. During implant treatment, we also use 3D X-rays (tomographs) to perfectly map the jawbone. Then, custom-made implant guides are manufactured to allow the implants to be inserted perfectly using keyhole surgery.
All materials used by us are 100% traceable.
