We also offer specially designed mouthguards
Mouthguards cannot completely eliminate damage to the teeth in the event of a severe impact, but they significantly limit the damage. At City Dental, we manufacture mouthguards that are completely customized to your or your child’s teeth.
Mouthguards for hockey players
Hockey is one of the toughest sports to play, which is evident in all the hockey protection that is needed. Teeth are one of the most affected parts of the body and close combat with a stick is the most common cause of tooth damage.
In the 2003/2004 season, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association implemented a new rule which means that all players born in 1984 or later who are allowed to play without a grill must wear a mouthguard. The mouthguard must also be made by a dentist. For children and young people, the rule is to play with a grill until the age of 18, after which it changes to a visor and mouthguard.

Mouthguards for martial artists
If you practice martial arts (for example, Thai boxing, boxing or rugby), there are often regulations that state that you must wear mouthguards when practicing your sport.
For example, boxers must always wear a mouthguard that is individually adjusted.
