Examination
An examination is carried out before City Dental starts a treatment, and we give you a quote.
The examination means that we look for holes and any fillings that need to be replaced. We also check your gums, tongue and palate. In some cases, an examination of the jaw joints and chewing muscles is also required.
We also take an X-ray in order to get a complete picture of your dental status. At City Dental, we use the latest digital X-ray technology. This allows us to quickly display the images on a screen. Digital X-rays require a lower dose of radiation and are more environmentally friendly. Digital X-rays make it easier for us to show you and to explain what we can see.
Following the examination, we make a diagnosis and tell you what dental care you need. You are also given a quote, which you can compare with quotes from other dentists.
