City Dental has its own in-house dental laboratory. We can manufacture everything from prostheses to porcelain crowns!
Our team of dentists and dental technicians can tailor your treatment to suit you and match your circumstances.
When we need to make crowns and bridges, we scan your mouth using an intraoral scanner, and then send a 3D file to the lab. The new tooth is designed in the lab digitally and then machined into shape in the desired material. After that a ceramic material is applied to the tooth and fired in a high temperature furnace. Finally, the prosthesis is ground smooth, painted and glazed by hand before being fired one last time at high temperature.
If necessary, when making an implant for example, we also use a 3D X-ray device (tomograph) to map your jaw perfectly. Then tailor-made implant guides are made so that the implant can be fitted perfectly using keyhole surgery.
All of the material that we use is 100% traceable.
